Aaron Allan represents and counsels clients in a variety of litigation and pre-litigation contexts with an emphasis on real property, insurance coverage, environmental and toxic tort matters.

Aaron has substantial experience litigating both insurance coverage matters and environmental lawsuits. He represented one of the largest chapter 11 debtors ever in the State of California in prosecuting numerous actions against its insurers with respect to environmentally contaminated properties owned in central California. Aaron currently represents a regulated California water utility accused of delivering contaminated drinking water. In representing a local government entity in connection with claims against an adjoining landowner, Aaron was the principal negotiator and architect of a complex settlement involving more than 20 different parties including a defendant in bankruptcy, the trustee of that defendant's chapter 7 bankruptcy estate and the administrator of two defendants' probate estates.

Aaron currently provides advice and counseling on environmental regulatory matters, including advice on air permitting, asbestos, drum recycling, and other issues involving hazardous materials.  Aaron also advises clients with respect to the risks associated with purchase of any environmentally contaminated property.

Aaron was admitted to the California bar in 1989 after graduating from Loyola Law School, where he was Executive Editor of the Loyola International and Comparative Law Journal and a member of the St. Thomas More Honor Society.
