Jacqui Krum was born in cape Town, South Africa.  She graduated, summa cum laude, from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1996 and received her Juris Doctorate from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1999.  Ms. Krum joined the firm as an associate in September 1999 and became a partner in 2007.

Ms. Krum has a wide range of experience in corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, emerging company/venture capital issues, private equity transactions, private placements and general corporate matters for public and private companies.  Her practice also encompasses the development, acquisition and sale, finance, operation, management, licensing, branding and restructuring of hotels, resorts and condo-hotels in the United States and internationally.
