Peter M. Weil received a BA with Honors and a JD cum laude from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 1970 and 1974, respectively. Mr. Weil also received an M.A. in History from the University of California at Berkeley in 1971.

Mr. Weil is a senior partner and chair of the Business Department of Christensen, Glaser, Fink, Jacobs, Weil & Shapiro, LLP.  The firm, which has approximately 120 attorneys, is based in the Century City area of Los Angeles.

In the course of Mr. Weil's 32 years of experience as a business lawyer, he has handled many large, complex and innovative transactions ranging from the acquisition and disposition of businesses to real estate development, construction, office and retail leasing, financing and restructuring.  The Los Angeles Business Journal lists Mr. Weil among the fifty leading lawyers in Los Angeles.  Los Angeles Magazine included him as one of its "2005 Super Lawyers," and The Century City Bar Association has previously recognized him as its "Real Estate Lawyer of the Year."  He has lectured widely on a variety of real estate-related topics.  In recent years, Mr. Weil has represented Arden Realty in a number of acquisitions and dispositions of office buildings; J.H. Snyder Company in several major development projects, including a 1.3 million square feet mixed use project in North Hollywood; Majestic Realty in a number of large industrial leases; Sunset-Gower Studios in the sale of a large independent production studio; and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer in the lease of its world headquarters, consisting of 400,000 square feet of office space in MGM Tower.  Mr. Weil is currently the lead outside counsel for MGM MIRAGE in connection with Project CityCenter, a $6 billion dollar, 18 million square foot, mixed use project in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Mr. Weil is a former President of the City of Los Angeles Planning Commission, a former Chairman of the City of Los Angeles Board of Zoning Appeals and a former member of the City of Los Angeles Board of Airport Commissioners.  Mr. Weil served as President of the Century City Bar Association and is a former trustee of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.

Mr. Weil has long been involved with a variety of civic and community organizations.  He currently serves as Chairman and Immediate Past President of the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Jewish Committee and as Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Skirball Cultural Center.
